ACT-IR4020U is an advanced wireless Fast Infrared USB adapter designed to replace the serial port or FIR/VFIR controller based SIR/MIR/FIR/VFIR wireless peripheral through Hi-Speed USB port. Taking advantage of the true plug-and-play nature and the high bandwidth of USB, ACT-IR4020U offers the easiest conversion of existing wireless to the legacy-free personal computer platform with the following features:

• Full-speed (16Mbps, VFIR for IR4020U) USB device operation

System Requirements:

1. Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP. Driver for MacOS available from Sigmatel.
2. One unoccupied USB port, minimum USB 1.1, preferably Hi-Speed USB 2.0 for the best performance.

Please note that this driver does not support the new Intel based Mac systems! Therefore this IrDA adapter will only work with the classic PowerPC Mac.
